The moisturizer works by trapping water in the skin, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and make the skin look brighter and younger. For best results, apply a moisturizer to your face and body immediately after bathing, showering, or shaving while your skin is still moist. At least every night, if not twice a day, you should clean your skin. It is important to remove excess oil, dirt and contaminants that adhere to the skin during the day.
If your skin is drier, look for a hydrating formula. Check the label for ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and ceramides. If you're having trouble with excess oil or congested skin, try to find something that has exfoliating or oil-balancing properties. Look for ingredients such as AHA, BHA or niacinamide.
